OOC PERMISSIONSBacktagging: In games, if a thread has not been tagged back within two weeks I will consider it dropped, unless we have communicated OOCly and the thread is mutually important. I prefer to have game threads wrapped within roughly one month of starting, to be able to keep up with the next month's events. If we've been tagging the thread consistently but it doesn't look like it's going to wrap up after a month has passed, I will reach out so we can handwave an ending. In some cases (key CR, very important event threads, etc.) I will continue beyond the month mark, however the maximum amount of time I will backtag any game thread is two months, without exception. For memes/PSLs, I will backtag in perpetuity no matter how long it's been. That said, if more than a couple months have gone by, I appreciate being told whether or not you'd like to continue the thread just for my own tracking purposes! Threadhopping: Text threads, go for it! Action threads, let's talk first to establish a tag order. Fourthwalling: Characters with knowledge of Abe no Seimei, youkai, the four gods, etc. are free to talk about that - either historical versions, or the versions from their canons! No other fourthwalling beyond that. Tag style: I default to brackets, but I don't mind if we don't match. Feel free to use prose if you want. Offensive subjects/triggers: There's nothing specific I avoid or need warning for. Feel free to use CWs at your own discretion. IC PERMISSIONS, WARNINGS, DNWSPhysical affection: Go for it! Flirting: Go for it, but know that any flirting he does in return will be extraordinarily silly. Romance: Absolutely, I love to ship him. See shipping preferences below for more information! Mindreading: Yes, please get in there, whether he's aware of it or not! Always happy to give you extra details that your character would be able to glean from his mind palace. Manipulation: Please do! Fighting: It depends. He's very weak against anything but youkai, so if a thread is heading in that direction, let's talk. Injury: Generally, yes! He gets beat up a lot in canon, but if a thread is heading in that direction, let's talk. Killing: Only in specific circumstances! If it comes up, we will have already talked extensively. Canon warnings: N/A as of right now, subject to change in the future. Do not wants: N/A as of right now, subject to change in the future. BACKGROUNDThe titular terrified teacher at ghoul school. Descendent/reincarnation of Abe no Seimei. Obsessed with sailor uniforms to the point of all-consuming fetish, but it's not sexual, seriously. Soul is comprised of 20% desire, 20% athleticism, 20% cowardice, 20% memories and 20% scheming bastard. Will use any underhanded tricks or schemes necessary to do what's right for his students. More observant and intelligent than he lets on. Still a tremendously silly dumbass, though. ABILITIESAnti-youkai powers: Able to weaken or dispel the spirit energy of youkai, although he uses it peacefully (TM). This can be triggered accidentally when he's in a heightened emotional state, and it can be powered up by thinking about sailor uniforms, but more recently he's learned how to better amplify and channel his power thanks to Events and Shenanigans. Worrisome athleticism: Haruaki is extraordinarily fast when powered by cowardice or, you guessed it, thinking about sailor uniforms. Whether or not this is a genuine ability or just a byproduct of being himself is up to you. The Four Gods: As of ch. 92 in the manga, he's formed a contract with the Four Gods (Suzaku, Seiryuu, Byakko and Genbu) and can summon them at will using shikigami. Given they are all fully fledged characters in the series, this won't be functional in any game setting and could realistically only be used for a fun thread involving one of the Four Gods in a meme/PSL setting, but it's cool to know! SHIPPING PREFERENCESAt this time, only interested in M/M! Kink list is under construction, link to be added later. Other Abe no Seimeis, reincarnations of Abe no Seimeis, or people who know their own Seimeis/reincarnations of Seimei are especially beloved! Let's make it weird. When playing on memes, for new cross-canon ships I generally prefer generic jamjar assumed CR situations over in-depth canon blending, but if you have an idea for the latter please let me know! I am not interested in playing him in any cross-canon ships where he is someone's teacher.
